Hernan Romero

Hernan's career consists of playing with top artists from Stevie Nicks until he took the path of more instrumental style music where he went on to play with some of the world's best guitarists like John McLaughlin and Al Di Meola.

 

He has pushed the limits of genre as his music consists of elements of : Latin, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Flamenco mixed with jazz, fusion and classical

Romero's 'Un Segundo Una Vida' brought his flamenco and Latin-based jazz to new realms with the addition of more complex orchestration and additional instrumentation.

 

Including the melodic strings of a chamber orchestra, and a wide array of penetrating vocals. Romero's CD, 'Duende', hit number 6 on the Billboard charts (World Music).

 

Romero continues to captivate audiences around the world.  Hernan was born into an Argentinian family as both his parents were musicians. He was influenced by his mother, a latin Grammy and Lifetime Achievement winner and his father, a producer.

 

At age 9, he learned to play the guitar with his natural talent. He then gained a formal education at Manhattan School of Music and pursued music as a career. He continued make a name for himself and was a Grammy winner in 2001 for his album 'Un Segundo Una Vida'.
