Born and raised in the South Bronx, Gumbi is a master conga percussionist who blends his Puerto Rican/Cuban roots with jazz, fusion, Caribbean, and funk.
He started playing piano and saxophone at a young age and has played with various bands and musicians.
Gumbi is known for his extensive knowledge of percussion and has recorded, performed, and produced music with acclaimed artists.
